Our Services
NORTHSTAR consists of a team of registered physical and occupational therapists, PTAs and COTAs, actively involved in the day-to-day management of client programs. Services include:
- Annual and semi-annual assessments, including current status and changes since last assessment
- 30-day evaluations for new clients
- Timely reports and recommendations
- Development and monitoring of formal and informal training objectives
- Regular objective updates
- Equipment assessments, including coordination of purchases and repairs
- Exceptional inservice training, including training in client-related care issues
- Communication with clients, families, other health care providers (ID team members) and facility direct care staff
- Assist with and coordinate programs between home and day programs or schools (our team is available to attend day programs and train day program staff)
- Assistance with other client care disciplines, including referrals to appropriate professionals as needed
